Sometimes in life we face problems that can feel just too big to manage alone
Focused short term and long term counselling and psychotherapy in Golders Green, Hampstead and Finchley, North London, and Nationwide Online Counselling.
Hello and Welcome,
I am Christine, a fully qualified and experienced therapist registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
I am aware that reaching out for help and stepping into the world of therapy can feel daunting and scary and I would like to invite you to find out a little bit more about how I can support you.
Life can present us with challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, lost, anxious, and often misunderstood. This could be a life event that is too big or painful to face alone; or maybe you can't explain the low mood, anxiety or racing thoughts you are experiencing and want to work towards deeper understanding and self awareness.
My approach to therapy is always grounded in empathy, and respect for you as a unique individual and I am committed to creating a safe and compassionate environment where we can explore the difficulties you maybe facing in your life, a space where you will always be met with care and sensitivity.
I offer both short-and-long term, in person therapy sessions in comfortable private therapy rooms located in both Golders Green and Finchley Central, as well as nationwide online therapy sessions.
You may feel overwhelmed, lost, anxious, or stuck, and do not know where to turn. Maybe you have an inner critical voice that just won't rest and leaves you feeling guilty and constantly questioning yourself. These thoughts and feelings could be impacting your life, relationships, work, or education, and you long to restore a sense of balance and calm to your life.
I can offer you a safe, private, and non-judgmental environment for you to talk in confidence.
A space where you can focus on yourself and explore your past, present, and future.
I work ethically and professionally adopting the BACP Ethical Framework and adhere to GDPR and Safeguarding guidelines.
Through the therapeutic counselling relationship, we will work together to help you develop a deeper sense of self-awareness, we will explore communication styles and learnt behaviour patterns that may not be serving you well and holding you back from making a change. When we truly understand ourselves it leads to new possibilities and a fulfilled way of life, restoring balance and a sense of peace.
I have considerable experience in a wide range of issues that could be impacting your life. Here are a few of the more common difficulties that I can support you with through therapy:
ADD
ADHD
Adoption
ASD
Affairs and betrayal
Anger issues
Anxiety
Attachment issues
Therapy can help with more than just the issues mentioned so please do contact me to discuss what is going on for you.

Testimonials
"I just wanted to thank you again for helping me through my difficult time. You are such a great listener, so professional and gifted in your field." Carolyn B.
"The way you respond and ask questions to challenge the persons situation to allow them to gain another perspective is amazing, your patience and nurturing energy made it so easy for me to open up to you. I like to say you were my therapist at first sight because I spoke to many therapists but it wasn’t until I spoke to you were I felt like you were the right therapist for me. It never felt like a service; I always felt like you really cared to help me. Thank-you for being a part of my journey and allowing me to let go, rant, cry, laugh, explore, be safe." Paytaya H.
